The website deathleavesatrace.com is published by Khyri Chan Studio, the name under which an individual develops the game Death Leaves a Trace on a non-professional basis.

In accordance with article 6, III, 2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN), the publisher does not make their identity public; it has been provided to the hosting provider below.

Intellectual property

The name Death Leaves a Trace, its logo, the artwork, the game screenshots and the texts of this website belong to their author. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

The Cinzel and IM Fell English typefaces are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (Cinzel licence, IM Fell English licence).

Death Leaves a Trace is an independent project, not affiliated with any other game or publisher.

Personal data and cookies

This website sets no cookies, uses no audience measurement or advertising tools, and loads nothing from other websites: even its typefaces are hosted here.
Like any web server, the server records the IP address, the date and the requested page in its technical logs, for its security (detecting and blocking attacks). These logs are deleted after 14 days.
Signing up for a private test session (the /alpha1 pages) collects an account name, a password and, if you wish, a contact (Discord username or email address). This data is used only to organise the session and create your game account, and is deleted after the session.
Links to X and Discord lead to third-party services, which apply their own rules.

You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted by writing to us (see Contact), and lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
